Halloween in the House!!

We had a great Halloween this year! Everyone got into the spirit! haha Me and Loren even did for cryin out loud! That's saying something! Emily was bent on dressing us up and she did good! :] Loren was a Puppy, I was a Witch, Emily was Tinkerbell and Natalie was a Ninja Turtle. The girls costumes were um..fun!! Natalies was actually a breeze to make and turned out great!! Emily's was another story! haha We made the dress all from scratch and we learned that from now on we use a pattern and a zipper! :] But she looked great with the help of LOTS of safety pins! The grandkids all came by to trick-or-treat. It is decided that they are the cutest little hooligans out there! :]

Hi There,
I saw your comment on my blog about making the tree skirt for a full size tree.
I think it can be done but it would be tricky. You would need larger triangles, so to make the template you would need to tape 4 pieces of 12x12 paper together...
Then you would need more than one long "strip" of sewn pieces... because you would not get enough triangles out of the one strip...
Also you could use a jelly roll instead of a honey bun, since the jelly roll strips are wider ...
does this make any sense? like I said I think it "could" be done, but would take some experimenting etc...
