Halloween in the House!!

We had a great Halloween this year! Everyone got into the spirit! haha Me and Loren even did for cryin out loud! That's saying something! Emily was bent on dressing us up and she did good! :] Loren was a Puppy, I was a Witch, Emily was Tinkerbell and Natalie was a Ninja Turtle. The girls costumes were um..fun!! Natalies was actually a breeze to make and turned out great!! Emily's was another story! haha We made the dress all from scratch and we learned that from now on we use a pattern and a zipper! :] But she looked great with the help of LOTS of safety pins! The grandkids all came by to trick-or-treat. It is decided that they are the cutest little hooligans out there! :]

Fallin for Fall!

We at the McIntyre house LOVE fall! Even with all the business on the farm, something about the chilly weather, leaves and harvest gets to us! To celebrate our favorite time we had a little party, a Pumpkin party to be exact! Everyone came down to visit and we put them straight to work making apple juice! so yummy! After picking the best of the best pumpkins for the party we celebrated all the October birthdays; Sarah, Ryan, Katy and Emily. It was a princess party complete with crowns and a castle cake compliments of Emily, that's been her thing lately!
Then came the annual Pumpkin Party! We had costume races,
Doughnuts on a string,
Bobbing for apples,Gourd bowling, pumpkin decorating and lots of laughs! This last one is a picture of me and all the grandkids in the jammies i made them for fall! They are pretty cute if i do say so myself! :]

Busy, Busy, Busy

This time of year always brings the business. We have had a lot going on with Seminary starting, back to school for the girls and the boys working their little hearts out. Have a look at us McIntyre's have been up to! :)

One week end we headed to Utah for the Ostermiller's Reception and stopped by Lagoon on the way. It was a blast!

Of course we went to the annual Caldwell Night Rodeo! Very hot but very fun!

The girls started school, Jessica a sophomore, Emily a senior and Natalie a sophomore. They aer loving school especially Emily becuase she can see the light at the end of the tunnel. She got her senior pictures taken the other day. She is growing up way too fast...

Natalie made the Sophomore Volleyball team!

This year for Seminary we are teaching the Book of Mormon. It has been amazing to study it even further and learn even more of those ancient records. I have 22 kids this year and they are all great! I am loving it all!

So there it is a low down on all our business! :)

The Apples Don't Fall Far From the Tree

This past weekend while all my children came into town, I went out of town. Me and Loren went to the Boyer Family Reunion in Provo, Utah and had a lot of fun meeting new family members and seeing old ones (and I mean REALLY old ones). While we were in Utah we headed down to Richfield (Southern Utah) to see Grandma Louis. She has been having some health problems and recently moved into an assisted living facility and needed a lot of stuff moved out of her house. While moving a lot of dusty, smelly stuff into the u-haul we found some very amazing treasures. Yearbooks from 1942, family history records, my mother's wedding dress (teared up when i saw this one), old journals, some interesting couches and clothes. And when I cam home with everything my daughters found a particular interest in all the old clothes. And decided to take some of the most "interesting" ones and have a fashion show with them...just look at the pictures and you will understand what I mean.

Happy Birthday To You!

Happy Birthday Natalie! She turned 15 and is growing up so fast! She picked her favorite; ribs, corn and potatoes. It was all delicious!
Everyone enjoying their food and fun conversation.
Her favorite gift; a coupon to go pick out a cell phone! She is ecstatic! We figured it was time.
Her favorite; Jello Cake, make a wish!

Corn out our Ears!!!

With the extra help of Julie and Jen down we tackled all the corn. We ended up with 210 bags! What a day! phew! Everyone pitched in and we were able to accomplish a lot!

The kids "mixed" the corn in the tub while they cooled. they had a blast!Julie bagged the cornI cut the kernels off with my little helper, Bentley.Ryan was the official taste tester! This kept him occupied for a long time! Here are the "de-fuzzers"!
Heston made sure we filled the daily quota of napping and swingingEmily made lunch for all us starving corn people before she went to a Yearbook Meeting! Thanks for everyones help! We couldn't have done it without you!

The Time of Year

There is no better time to have a yard then in the summer! Now that the yard has been in for a while it has really taken off! I love just looking at it and try to at least once a year especially since it won't be so nice in the middle of frigid, freezing January!
